by Tom Perry

Marietta, Ohio (03/20/2023) — PANdemonium4 kicks off its spring season with a guest artist residency at Marietta College and will offer a free concert at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 5th, in the Alma McDonough Auditorium.

The concert features commissioned works by New Zealand composer Maria Grenfell (Pipe Music), Michigan composer Linda Kernohan (My Compass Still To Guide Me), and Ohio composer Tony Zilincik (It's Pandemonium!) alongside a recently re-premiered arrangement of English baroque composer William Boyce (Concerto Grosso in e minor), and New York composer Eric Ewazen's virtuosic Harmony in Blue and Gold.

PANdemonium4 is a flute quartet of Ohio-based teacher-performer professionals representing various universities across the state. They share a mutual passion for promoting all things flute in central Ohio and impacting the global future of chamber music collaborations within the setting of the quartet.

The ensemble was formed in 2016 and has thus far performed at four National Flute Association Annual Conventions and in seven different states. PANdemonium4 is Kimberlee Goodman (McConnell Arts Center acting executive director), Lindsey Goodman (Marietta College adjunct instructor of flute and West Virginia Symphony Orchestra principal flutist), Lisa Jelle (Capital University flute professor), and Alison Brown Sincoff (Ohio University flute professor).
