New flute quartet to perform at Marietta College on Oct. 3

PANdemonium4 scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in the Alma McDonough Auditorium

Marietta, Ohio (09/27/2017) — PANdemonium4 Flute Quartet, a newly formed group of teachers and performing professionals who represent a diverse group of Ohio universities, will be performing in concert at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 3rd, in Marietta College's Alma McDonough Auditorium.

The concert is free and open to the public.

Compositions to be performed will include Overture to The Marriage of Figaro by Mozart, Jour d'été a la Montagne by Bozza, Argyle Street by McIntyre, Fictions by Mower, and Plink, Plank, Plunk! by Anderson.

Members of the ensemble include Alison Sincoff, professor at Ohio University; Lisa Jelle, professor at Capital University; Kimberlee Goodman, professor at Otterbein University; and Lindsey Goodman, adjunct lecturer at Marietta College and West Virginia State University.

Sharing a mutual respect for one another and a desire to make an impact on the future of chamber music collaborations within the setting of the flute Quartet, PANdemonium4 has performed at the National Flute Association in Minnesota and at Ohio University and Capital University. The group is also scheduled to perform at the Southeast Michigan Flute Association this fall.

Located in Marietta, Ohio, at the confluence of the Muskingum and Ohio rivers, Marietta College is a four-year liberal arts college. Tracing its roots to the Muskingum Academy begun in 1797, the College was officially chartered in 1835. Today Marietta College serves a body of 1,200 full-time students.
