Marietta, OH (12/12/2023) — Sarah Mouch, CPA, has been named Vice President for Finance and Administration/CFO at Marietta College following a national search, Marietta President Margaret L. Drugovich announced today, December 12.

Mouch, currently the Vice President for Administration and Finance at Blackburn College in Carlinville, Illinois, will start at Marietta on February 5 and fully assume the responsibilities on February 14. She will spend an overlap week with Mike Bruce, interim Vice President for Finance and Administration/CFO.

As a member of the President's Cabinet at Marietta, she will lead the College's financial management strategy, which includes overseeing information technology, physical plant, campus police and the business office.

Over her 15+ years in business affairs and the financial industry, Mouch has spent the past five years in higher education.

"Sarah Mouch is an experienced higher education chief financial officer who has a track record of collaborative leadership," said President Drugovich. "While understanding that the rapidly changing higher education ecosystem requires flexibility and creativity, she has demonstrated through her previous work the value that she places on fiscal discipline, accountability and transparency. Sarah brings the perfect blend of skills to the role of Vice President for Finance and Administration, and the Marietta College community looks forward to her arrival."

Mouch is excited to relocate to the Marietta area in 2024.

"I look forward to joining the Pioneer family," Mouch said. "I am excited by the work, the mission, and the community at Marietta College. It will be a privilege to serve a remarkable institution and be part of this historic community."

Mouch joined Blackburn in 2022 and provided sound leadership and a valuable strategic vision that allowed her to manage the university's financial resources. From 2018 to 2022, she was the CFO and Controller at the Methodist Theological School in Ohio.

She also gained valuable experience as a Financial Reporting Controls Specialist with Nationwide Insurance in Columbus, and as a Compliance Officer/Controller with Buckeye State Bank in Columbus. Mouch has also worked as a Senior Internal Auditor with Greif in Delaware, Ohio, as an Associate National Bank Examiner at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency in Dublin, Ohio, and as a Senior Quality Assurance Coordinator with Ashland in Dublin.

Mouch earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Lakeland University in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Michigan-Flint.
