Marietta College's Novak recognized on Student Voting Honor Roll
Marietta, Ohio (05/18/2022) — Marietta College's Andrew Novak '23 (Sewickley, Pennsylvania) was recently recognized for his excellence in nonpartisan democratic engagement as an awardee of the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge's Student Voting Honor Roll.
"I'm honored to be recognized on the Student Voting Honor Roll by the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge," said Novak, who is majoring in Political Science. "I'm committed to increasing college student voting at Marietta College."
Students who are 18 or older can register to vote online at allintovote.org.
"Andrew has been critical to the democratic engagement work at Marietta College," said Amy Elliott, Director of Community Engagement. "He is very intentional and hard-working. I knew that I could trust that the program was in good hands."
Located in Marietta, Ohio, at the confluence of the Muskingum and Ohio rivers, Marietta College is a four-year liberal arts college. Tracing its roots to the Muskingum Academy back in 1797, the College was officially chartered in 1835. Today Marietta College serves a body of 1,200 full-time students.
