Education Department hosting disability rights panel on April 25th

Marietta, Ohio (04/12/2018) — Marietta College's Education Department is hosting representatives of Ohio's Best Disability Rights Advocates as part of a panel that will address issues affecting people with disabilities with a focus on children at 6 p.m., Wednesday, April 25th, in the Alma McDonough Auditorium.

Joining the panel will be Kristen Hildebrant, Senior Attorney and Assistant Director of Disability Rights of Ohio, and attorney Laura Ossek, who will be joined by a couple of local parents.

This event is free and open to the public.

The event is co-sponsored by The Bauer Fund of the J. Luce Foundation.

Located in Marietta, Ohio, at the confluence of the Muskingum and Ohio rivers, Marietta College is a four-year liberal arts college. Tracing its roots to the Muskingum Academy back in 1797, the College was officially chartered in 1835. Today Marietta College serves a body of 1,200 full-time students.
