Economic Roundtable of the Ohio Valley welcomes XPO Logistics President to March 9 webinar
Troy Cooper '91 to speak about transportation and logistics
Marietta, Ohio (02/17/2021) — XPO Logistics President Troy Cooper '91 is scheduled to speak during the Economic Roundtable of the Ohio Valley's webinar at noon, Tuesday, March 9.
Cooper, who earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Marietta College, will speak about "A C-Suite View of Transportation and Logistics." Anyone interested in attending should register in advance online.
Cooper also serves on XPO's European supervisory board. Prior to his current position, Cooper held several key roles on XPO's executive team, including chief executive of XPO Logistics Europe, chief operating officer of the company's global operations, head of the transportation segment and vice president of finance.
Previously, he held senior management roles in finance with two public companies, United Rentals, Inc. and United Waste Systems, Inc., where he worked with XPO CEO Brad Jacobs to build leading North American networks for equipment rental and solid waste management, respectively. Cooper began his career working in public accounting with Arthur Andersen and Co.

The Economic Roundtable of the Ohio Valley is a non-partisan non-political educational organization that formed in 1982 as a result of a collaboration between the Business and Economics Department at Marietta College and a mix of business, civic and educational leaders. The object of the Economic Roundtable is to promote an interest in and to enlighten its members and others in the community on important governmental, economic, and social issues.
