Marietta College to Host STEM Visit Day for Prospective Students

Marietta, OH (09/19/2025) — Future scientists, innovators, engineers, and problem-solvers are invited to attend Marietta College's STEM Visit Day on Friday, Sept. 26. The college will welcome prospective Pioneers and their families to campus for a day dedicated to STEM learning, exploration, and discovery.

STEM Visit Day is designed for students interested in majoring in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and related fields. Hosted by the Office of Admission, the event will run from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., giving high school students and their families the chance to explore campus and academic programs, connect with faculty and current students, as well as experience hands-on learning opportunities. From sitting in on classes to attending a resource fair or watching a planetarium show, visitors will directly experience life as a Pioneer. Financial aid and admission presentation sessions will also be available for parents and guests.

"We're excited about this opportunity to give future Pioneers an inside look at the happenings in all of our STEM departments," said Brooke Stanley, Visit Coordinator. "Allowing visitors to explore campus and our offerings is an important part of helping prospective students navigate their path in STEM."

Marietta offers a wide range of academic programs in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, computer science, neuroscience, and psychology, where students benefit from valuable experiential learning by participating in labs, research projects, and fieldwork. By spending time in Marietta's classrooms and community, they'll discover how Pioneers build the skills and knowledge to prepare for their careers and make meaningful impacts in their chosen fields.
