Baseball coach, author and mentor to speak at ERT in November
Mike Deegan '01 speaking about 'Developing a Process for a Purpose Driven Life'
Marietta, Ohio (11/05/2020) — The Economic Roundtable of the Ohio Valley is pleased to host Denison University baseball coach Mike Deegan '01 to help celebrate Community Foundation Week on Tuesday, November 17th. The Zoom webinar will be conducted from noon-1:00 p.m.
Deegan will speak about "Creating Change: Developing a Process for a Purpose Driven Life." The ERT webinar is free, but individuals must register at https://mariettacollege.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_X8Nzv_RjRJOBUfTOmjYeKA.
Deegan is the author of "Let It Rip: Lessons Learned Through Sports," and as a baseball coach he was part of three NCAA Division III National Championships at Marietta College. He has also mentored numerous all-conference and All-American athletes. While Deegan can talk about the finer points of coaching student-athletes, he likes to focus on the needs of an organization.

The Economic Roundtable of the Ohio Valley is a non-partisan non-political educational organization that formed in 1982 as a result of a collaboration between the Business and Economics Department at Marietta College and a mix of business, civic and educational leaders. The object of the Economic Roundtable is to promote an interest in and to enlighten its members and others in the community on important governmental, economic, and social issues.
