Jimmy Wharton to present undergraduate research at Economics Capstone Presentation

Marietta College's Jimmy Wharton of Tiltonsville, OH, is one of nine students who will be making their Economics Capstone Presentation on either Dec. 8 or 9 in Thomas 113.

Wharton is presenting on "Are Excise Taxes on Cigarettes Actually Effective at Changing Consumer Behavior?".

Every major at Marietta College requires a capstone course or capstone project that culminates every student's Marietta experience and helps propel them into graduate school or a professional career.

Wharton is majoring in Economics and Mathematics.
