Emily Kennedy '13 participating in Alternative Spring Break in Pine Ridge Native American Reservation in South Dakota

Emily Kennedy '13, of New Philadelphia, Ohio, is not partaking in the typical spring break.

Instead, Kennedy has joined approximately a dozen Marietta College classmates on an Alternative Spring Break trip to Pine Ridge Native American Reservation in South Dakota. Marietta College's spring break is March 10-18.

Kennedy is majoring in Health Science and Athletic Training.

Located in Marietta, Ohio, at the confluence of the Muskingum and Ohio rivers, Marietta College is a four-year liberal arts college.
