Theatre at Marietta excited to perform Medea starting on Friday, March 15

Marietta, OH (03/12/2024) — The Theatre Department at Marietta College is excited to present Medea, Euripides' most powerful and best-known play, on Friday, March 15. The performance begins at 8:00 p.m. in the Friederich Theatre. Other performances are scheduled for:

Medea is an immigrant with a past. She has staked her life and future on marrying Jason, the hero who captured the Golden Fleece. When Jason's affections begin to shift, Medea resorts to desperate measures. This classic Greek tragedy examines the precarious condition of the outsider and the devastating power of revenge.
