Marietta College proudly hosting fourth annual entrepreneurship expo on Sept. 26

Marietta, Ohio (09/11/2019) — The fourth annual Mid-Ohio Valley Entrepreneurship Expo (MOVEE) will be held from 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 26 on the Marietta College campus.

MOVEE is a one-day conference that brings together the existing and aspiring entrepreneurs, educators and resource providers to learn from each other and expand their network. The keynote speaker at the luncheon is Dale King, a Shark Tank winner.

King, who is expected to speak starting at 12:30 p.m., is a co-founder of Doc Spartan, which makes all types of natural first-aid ointments. Along with his partner, Renee Wallace, they manufacture, label and ship their products from their hometown of Portsmouth, Ohio.

The conference will conclude with a Resource Fair and Networking Reception that runs from 4:15-5:30 p.m. in the Dyson Baudo Recreation Center.

Twenty-two concurrent workshops are planned. Topics include building companies that change the world, starting a business after retirement, managing personal and business finances and better marketing.
