Marietta College hosting Paw Paintings to benefit Humane Society

Marietta, Ohio (08/26/2022) — The Marietta College Art Department is pleased to present "Paw Paintings: An Exhibition and Auction to Benefit the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley" on display in Atrium and Gallery 310 for one night only from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, September 16th.

The Art Department will work with dogs up for adoption at the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley to create paw paintings. We will let the happy pups walk through non-toxic paint and then tread on paper to create original works of art, to then be auctioned on Sept 16th. All money raised at the event and silent auction will go to the Humane Society; therefore, please come see the fine art of Woof Warhol, Vincent Van Ruff, Paw Picasso, and Bow-Wow O'Keefe, just to name a few.
