Concert Choir, Women's Choir to perform at First Congregational Church

Marietta, Ohio (10/11/2019) — Marietta College's Department of Music will conduct its annual Fall Choral Concert at 7:30 p.m., Friday, October 18th. The concert will be held at the First Congregational Church, 318 Front St., Marietta.

"This year's choirs are bigger than we've had in years," said Dr. Jay Dougherty, Director of Choral Activities. "It's so much fun to work with this many students. The talent this year is booming, and the students sight-read very well and respond like experts to instruction."

Performing will be the Concert Choir and the Women's Choir.

"I have chosen some harder music this year and the singers have stepped up to the plate to prepare it," Dougherty said. "I'm excited to share what we've prepared with our audience."

The concert is free and open to the public.
