Marietta College choir's annual fundraiser set for Feb. 23

Marietta, Ohio (02/14/2019) — The Choirs at Marietta College are conducting the annual Winter Gala on Saturday, February 23rd, at The Gathering Place on campus. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and dinner is served at 6:00 p.m.

This annual fundraiser and auction feature a catered dinner, wine, a silent auction, performances by the choirs and desserts from local restaurants.

"The Gala is a lot of fun. It's great for a date night and it always feels good to know you're supporting something worthwhile," said Dr. Jay Dougherty, Director of Choral Activities. "The proceeds from our fundraiser help the choir in all its various functions, including our Christmas with the Choirs concert every year and student travel opportunities."

Located in Marietta, Ohio, at the confluence of the Muskingum and Ohio rivers, Marietta College is a four-year liberal arts college.
